How neurotoxin treatment works
Every time you frown, squint or raise your brows, the muscles beneath your skin contract and fold the skin above them. Over years, those repeated folds become etched lines that are visible even when your face is at rest. Botulinum toxin type A, the active ingredient in Botox, Dysport and Letybo, temporarily blocks the nerve signal that tells those specific muscles to contract. The skin above them relaxes, existing lines soften, and new lines are prevented from deepening.
At Anato Aesthetics, all injections are performed with a focus on patient safety, anatomical precision and natural facial movement. Each treatment plan is customized to your unique muscle structure and aesthetic goals to achieve balanced, consistent results.
Areas we treat with Botox and Dysport
- Forehead lines: horizontal lines from raising the brows.
- Glabellar lines (“11s”): the vertical frown lines between the brows.
- Crow’s feet: lines fanning from the outer corners of the eyes.
- Brow lift: strategic placement to gently open the eyes.
- Bunny lines: diagonal lines on the sides of the nose.
- Lip flip and gummy smile: subtle relaxation of the upper lip for a fuller look or less gum show.
- Chin dimpling and downturned mouth corners.
- Masseter (jaw) slimming: softens a square jawline and can ease clenching and TMJ discomfort.
- Platysmal bands: vertical neck cords.
- Hyperhidrosis: excessive underarm sweating.
What to expect at your Scottsdale appointment
- Consultation. Jessica reviews your medical history, watches how your face moves and maps the muscles involved. You will receive a unit count and exact price before treatment.
- Treatment. After cleansing the skin, a series of tiny injections is placed in the targeted muscles. Most patients describe a brief pinch. The injection portion takes about 10 minutes.
- Aftercare. You can go straight back to work. Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, facials and lying flat for four hours, and avoid rubbing the area for the rest of the day.
- Follow-up. Full results appear by two weeks. New patients are invited back for a complimentary two-week check so we can fine-tune your personal dosing map for future visits.
Why choose a nurse practitioner for Botox in Scottsdale
Neurotoxin is a prescription medication, and where it is placed matters as much as how much is used. Jessica Lee, MSN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in medical aesthetics since 2020 and years of hands-on injecting experience. She personally performs every treatment, so your dosing is consistent from visit to visit and adjusted as your muscles change over time.
Cost and membership pricing
Neurotoxins are priced per unit. A typical first treatment of the forehead and frown lines uses 20 to 40 units depending on muscle strength; crow’s feet add roughly 12 to 24 units. Because we quote before injecting, there are never surprises. If you plan to maintain results, our Skinvestment Membership offers special member pricing on Botox and Dysport and lets you bank funds toward each visit.
